Planning a funeral is a very significant and emotional event. When a death occurs, whether sudden or expected, the initial call to the Funeral

music and personal items can all contribute to a ceremony that reflects accurately on a person’s life. It is therefore critical that we get this right for you.
After the funeral it is our responsibility to submit details of the person to the Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages so that their death is recorded. These details are simply those recorded already on any Birth or Marriage Certificate they may have. It is this submission that generates what is known as the Certified Certificate of Death, which is needed to administer the many aspects of the deceased estate. - Date and place of birth
- If born overseas, the arrival date in Australia
- Father’s full name and occupation
- Mother’s full maiden name and occupation
- To whom married (including full maiden name)
- Date and place of any marriage
- Full name and date of birth of any children
These days many people consider prearranging and/or prepaying funerals so that their requests can be recorded.
